The maximum power supply voltage for the TDA7265 is 18V, but it's recommended to use a voltage regulator to ensure a stable 12V supply for optimal performance.
The TDA7265 can be configured for stereo or mono operation by connecting the relevant pins. For stereo operation, connect the LOUT and ROUT pins to the left and right channels, respectively. For mono operation, connect the LOUT pin to the speaker and leave the ROUT pin unconnected.
The maximum output power of the TDA7265 is 2 x 6W (stereo) or 1 x 12W (mono) into a 4Ω load, with a maximum supply voltage of 12V.
To protect the TDA7265 from overheating, ensure good heat dissipation by using a heat sink, and avoid operating the device at maximum power for extended periods. Also, monitor the device temperature and reduce the power output if it exceeds 150°C.
While the TDA7265 is designed for a 12V supply, it can operate with a supply voltage between 9V and 15V. However, the output power and efficiency may vary depending on the supply voltage.
