K0RE Family K0RE9418 K0RE9418 Development Board Product Overview The K0RE9418 K0RE9418 development board is a low-cost ($39) and easy way to begin evaluating the integrated features of the µPD78F9418 PD78F9418, a member of NEC Electronics' K0S 8-bit microcontroller family. This device is an excellent embedded microcontroller for portable human interface applications. µPD78F9418 PD78F9418 Features · 32 KB of flash memory · 28 x 4 multi-mode LCD controller/ driver · Seven-channel 10-bit resolution A/D converter · Watchdog timer · Real-time clock · 1.8 to 5.5 volt operation The K0RE9418 K0RE9418 board adds the basic required external components to provide an operating platform from which to build a prototype system. It also provides a means of immediately starting a design by enabling the products' I/O pins to be attached to the microcontroller's peripherals. For prototyping, all device pins are brought out to convenient 0.1-inch center thru-holes that surround the package. "Special": Transportation equipment (automobiles, trains, ships, etc.), traffic control systems, anti-disaster systems, anti-crime systems, safety equipment and medical equipment (not specifically designed for life support). "Specific": Aircraft, aerospace equipment, submersible repeaters, nuclear reactor control systems, life support systems and medical equipment for life support, etc. The quality grade of NEC Electronics products is "Standard" unless otherwise expressly specified in NEC Electronics data sheets or data books, etc. If customers wish to use NEC Electronics products in applications not intended by NEC Electronics, they must contact NEC Electronics sales representative in advance to determine NEC Electronics`s willingness to support a given application.
