ï»¿Â¿til PRPST Thermal Control Module PCM 001 Designed for use either with the PAPST Thermal Management System or as a "stand-a-lone" thermal controller for PAPST 12v DC fans, the PCM 001 is a simple and easy way to provide variable fan speed over a specified temperature range of 20-40Â°C or 35-55Â°C . Operation: At start-up the control module will drive the fan to full operating speed. This provides a start up test after which the fan is controlled down to the operating range specified by the controller. Features: A linear speed control system which automatically controls the speed of up to 3 dc fans with power ratings of up to 5 watts each, depending on ambient temperature, via a remotely positioned NTC thermistor. A second optional temperature range of 35-55Â°C is easily selected. In the event of a thermistor failure, either open or short circuit, the fans will immediately increase speed to the full speed operation. The module also provides full power start up before slowing down to required running speed controlled by the thermistor. Short circuit protected with current limit. Very low voltage drop (less than 0.2V). Totally enclosed. Ease of installation. Mounting by two 3 MM holes. Dimensions 65mm x 30mm x 17mm.
