Introduction
Description
AU9254 integrated single chip controller designed emerging industry-standard Universal Serial (USB). AU9254 supports four downstream ports. Each downstream port power switch control, over-current sensing. Single chip integration makes AU9254 most cost effective stand-alone solution available market. Downstream ports used connect various peripheral devices, such printers, modems, scanners, cameras, mice, joysticks system without adding external glue logic.
Features
Fully compliant with Universal Serial Specification, version 1.1. design compliant with Universal Serial Specification, revision 1.1. Single chip integrated controller with embedded proprietary processor. Supports four bus-powered/self-powered downstream ports. Built-in 3.3v voltage regulator allows single operating voltage, resulting reduced overall system cost. Runs 12Mhz frequency. 28-pin SSOP package, both normal size (body size mil) smaller size (body size mil) available.

Latch-Up Test Results
Test Description: Latch-Up testing performed room ambient using IMCS-4600 system which applies stepped voltage device with other pins open except which were biased 5Volts ground respectively. Testing started 5.0V (Positive) (Negative), biased seconds. neither current supply device current supply reached predefined limit (DUT=00mA, Icc=100mA), then voltage increased 0.1Volts tested again. This procedure recommended JEDEC JC-40.2 CMOS Logic standardization committee. Notes: DUT: device under test. PUT: under test.
