These high voltage, high current Darlington transistor arrays comprised seven silicon Darlington pairs common monolithic substrate. units feature open-collector outputs integral suppression diodes inductive loads. Peak in-rush currents 600mA allowable, making them ideal driving tungsten filament lamps, also.
Type ULN2003 series base resistor each Darlington pair, thus allows operation directly with CMOS supply voltage.
Type ULN2004 appropriate series input resistor allow operation directly from CMOS PMOS outputs utilizing supply voltages 15V. required input current below that Type ULN2003.
cases, individual Darlington pair collector current rating 500mA. However, outputs paralleled higher load current capability. devices supplied 16-pin dual in-line plastic package.
