Although exposure high temperature inevitable during soldering recommend limiting soldering temperature levels shown figure sake retaining inherent excellent reliability.

length sec. Recommend temperature profile Precautions heating method
When resin kept exposed high temperature long time, device reliability marred. Therefore, essential complete soldering shortest time possible prevent temperature resin from rising.
When employing halogen lamps infrared-ray heaters
When halogen lamps infrared-ray heaters used, avoid direct irradiation onto resin surfaces such devices cause extensive localized temperature rise.
Please keep reflow solder operating when SOT-89 package's soldering.
