Instruction Description
Clear Display Clears entire display address address counter.
Return Home Sets address address counter Returns display being shifted original position. contents remain unchanged.
Entry Mode Sets cursor move direction specifies shift display. These operations performed during data Write Read.
Display ON/OFF Sets ON/OFF display (D), cursor ON/OFF blink cursor position character (B).
Cursor Display Shift Moves cursor shifts display without changing contents.
Function Sets interface data length (DL) number display lines (N).
Address Sets address. data sent received after this setting.
