General Description
XE1218 single die, power, receiver operating band from 130MHz 230MHz. highly integrated architecture allows audio functions same die, whilst minimizing external components needed build complete application same time. XE1218A enables single chip, complete audio transmission solutions, where antenna feeds incoming signal directly into XE1218A amplified audio signal earphone directly from XE1218A's output. Functional description
General description
XE1218A integrated receiver including necessary functions process modulated signal input deliver "speech quality" audio signal output. XE1218A designed maximum system simplicity thus requires only external components offer antenna audio functionality. Operation overview
While XE1218A single channel receiver, various fixed frequencies selected between 130MHz 230MHz. This achieved changing external front-end components: Xtal. XE1218A receiver connects antenna differential input: pins RFG. external components must tune circuit incoming carrier frequency. calculated tune oscillator desired incoming carrier frequency. Xtal selected according desired input carrier frequency, relaxes oscillator's factor insure greater reception stability.
