Serial Adapter Board
Serial Adapter Board allows different forms communication with transceivers. user must choose between using RS-232 levels Volt logic levels interfacing with transceiver when using adapter board.

2.1.2 Switch Settings Their Definitions
DTE/DCE When this switch moved position (High) serial interface will configured (modem) connected (PC). When switch moved position (Low) serial interface will configured (PC) connected (modem). TTL/RS-232 When this switch (High) serial adapter will support level communications from DB-9 Serial interface transceiver addition, jumpers must installed). OEM.EXE
This software contains three unique utilities exercise, monitor setup modes transceivers. These utilities are: Transmit/Receive Emulator, Single line command interface, EEPROM viewer/editor.

Developers 3.1.1 Transmit/Receive Emulator
This utility allows Server Client transceiver communicate with each other. software comes pre-configured transceivers development kit. Connect Server Transceiver (3F8) connect Client Transceiver (3F8) separate Copy ClientPC directory contents with Client Transceiver attached. Copy ServerPC directory contents with Server Transceiver attached. TX/RX emulator uses script files (.RTC files) send compare data through transceiver link. operate transmit/receive emulator, there only commands used. `F4' This will clear emulator's buffers. `F5' This will change software Single Line Command Editor. `F9' This will execute chosen script file continuous loop. `F10' This will single step through script file. load script file run, will command `Alt then choose load script file. then press 'enter' will list script files that run. From here arrow keys select script file would like run. following script files have been included used specifically transmit/receive emulator. LXRXPKT.RTC This file used either client server transceiver receive data. LXTXPKT.RTC This file used either client server transceiver transmit data.
3.1.2 Single Line Command Interface
While Transmit/Receive emulator press `F5' enter into Line Command Interface. line command interface allows user easy issue LX2400 commands. These commands stored retrieved later during development. Several most commonly used commands such Enter Command Mode Read Client/Server have already been entered into Single Line Command Interface. `F10' used transmit command transceiver, `F9' command used repeatedly send command transceiver. Upon successfully receiving executing command, transceiver will send back acknowledgement displayed "Receive Data" window. exit, changes command interface either saved ignored. Press `Esc' exit.
3.1.3 EEPROM Viewer/Editor
From Single Line Command Interface, press `F2' into EEPROM Viewer/Editor. edit value this screen, simply move cursor highlight appropriate value, type value press `Enter' key. undo edit, press `Esc' before write values EEPROM. update transceiver with EEPROM values, first, must press hold write enable switch (SW2) then, press `F10' transmit data EEPROM.
PORTS.CFG
PORTS.CFG contains basic configuration information AeroComm software. contains port address hex, what software will consider Port (Default Port (Default also contains baud rate program will startup.
