74VHC138 3-to-8 Decoder/Demultiplexer
VHC138 advanced high speed CMOS 3-to-8 decoder/demultiplexer fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology. achieves high speed operation similar equivalent Bipolar Schottky while maintaining CMOS power dissipation. When device enabled, binary select inputs (A0, determine which outputs (O0-O7) will LOW. When enable input held either held HIGH, decoding function inhibited outputs HIGH. inputs provided ease cascade connection address decoder memory systems. input protection circuit ensures that applied input pins without regard supply voltage.
