General Description:
IR6226 terminal monolithic HIGH SIDE SWITCH with built short circuit, over- temperature, ESD, inductive load turn capability diagnostic feedback. on-chip protection circuit limits average current during short circuit drain current exceeds 20A. protection circuit latches high side switch junction temperature exceeds 170°C latches after junction temperature falls 10°C. drain source voltage actively clamped 55V, improving performance during turn with inductive loads. on-chip charge pump high side driver stage floating referenced source power MOSFET. Thus logic power ground isolation high 50V. This allows operation with larger offset well controlling switch during load energy recirculation regeneration. diagnostic provided status feedback short circuit, over temperature open load detection.
