General Description:
IR6216 terminal monolithic HIGH SIDE SWITCH with built short circuit, over- temperature, ESD, inductive load turn capability diagnostic feedback. Truth Table on-chip protection circuit limits average current during short circuit drain current exceeds 10A. protection cirCondition cuit latches high side switch junction temperature exceeds 170°C latches after junction temperature falls Normal 10°C. drain source voltage actively clamped 55V, Normal improving performance during turn with inductive loads. Output Open on-chip charge pump high side driver stage floating ref- Output Open erenced source power MOSFET. Thus logic Shorted Output power ground isolation high 50V. This allows operaShorted Output tion with larger offset well controlling switch during load energy recirculation regeneration. Over-Temperature diagnostic provided status feedback short circuit, Over-Temperature over temperature open load detection.
