3-terminal positive voltage regulator
DESCRIPTION LM7805 series three terminal positive regulators available TO-220/D-PAK package with several fixed output voltages, making them useful wide range applications. Each type employs internal current limiting, thermal shut-down safe operating area protection, making essentially indestructible. adequate heat sinking provided, they deliver over output current. Although designed primarily fixed voltage regulators, these devices used with external components obtain adjustable voltages currents.
