Description SNAP-IDC5-SW SNAP-IDC5-SW-NC modules provide four channels contact status input. Each module supplies volts power external contact switch. SNAP-IDC5-SW senses switch closure; SNAP-IDC5-SW-NC senses switch opening. Each user-supplied switch connected with wires. Because these modules include power switch, they particularly costeffective when labor costs wiring external power high. Typical switches with these modules switched status sensors (level sensors, pressure indicators, etc.), magnetic reed switches (used doors windows burglar alarms), snapaction micro switches, auxilliary switches motor starters, most relay contacts. CAUTION: SNAP-IDC5-SW SNAP-IDC5-SW-NC inputs intended used with contacts that connected external user-supplied voltage currents.
