Making Voltage Inverter from Buck (Step-Down) DC-DC Converter
Abstract: step-down DC-DC converter used inverter with changes operating schematic. When using step-down DC-DC converter inverter, there some limitations. voltage difference between input negative output must less than step-down DC-DC converter's maximum operating input voltage. essence, step-down DC-DC converter with maximum input used convert -7V, more. addition, minimum input voltage inverting circuit must greater than minimum operating voltage step-down minus diode drop. That because start-up, there initially negative output voltage. Consequently, step-down biased only input voltage, less diode forward drop.
Figure Block diagram shows generic step-down DC-DC converter both normal step-down (Figure connected negative-output voltage inverter (Figure 1b).
