Operation Modes Independent Operation Two-Phase Operation with Current Sharing
General Description
APW1175 two-phase, synchronous, voltage mode controller provide dual channel single outputs distinct operation modes. independent mode, converters supply independently regulated voltages converting common different power inputs. two-phase mode, converters supply regulated voltage with programmable current sharing control converting common different power inputs. two-phase mode supply larger power than that provided each single channel. APW1175 features internal 300KHz oscillator, Power-On-Reset (POR), external adjustable soft-start programmable output current limit with foldback. controllers 180o phase minimize input ripple (common power input) output ripple (two-phase mode).

Functional Description
VREF (Pin Internal 1.25V reference voltage This internally connected positive input master channel error amplifier. +IN2 (Pin Positive input slave channel error amplifier. Connect this 1.25V reference (Pin independent channel configuration. -IN2, -IN1 (Pin Negative inputs slave master error amplifier. (Pin Connect this 5V~15 power provides bias control circuitry. SS/ENA (Pin Connect capacitor from this ground.This capacitor, along with internal 25uA current source, sets soft-start interval, preventing outputs from overshoot well limiting input current. Pull this below 1.4V shutdown outputs PWRGD (Pin Power good signal output pin. This open collector output, which pulled output voltage outside power good window. (Pin Signal ground control circuitry. voltage levels measured with respect this pin.
