This device, combined with application driver software, provides complete system solution hardware acceleration Windows DirectSound®, DirectSound3D®, DirectInput, Wavetable Synthesis. drivers provide support both Windows Windows 5.0. CS4622/24 based Cirrus Logic CrystalClear Stream Processor (SP) core. core optimized digital audio processing, powerful enough handle complex signal processing tasks such Dolby Digital AC-3 decoding (CS4622 only) with ease. core supported mastering interface built-in dedicated engine with hardware scatter-gather support. These support functions ensure extremely efficient transfer audio data streams from host-based memory buffers, providing system solution with maximum performance minimal host loading. all-digital CS4622/24 supports variety audio configurations including direct connection CrystalClear CS4297 Codec. secondary interface provides support multi-channel digital docking solutions.
