GENERAL THEORY OPERATION
Intronics PLC4000 series Power Supplies designed safely completely power fully loaded Allen Bradley 1771 rack system. units designed operated either "Stand Alone" "Redundant Mode Operation" minimize probability interruption running 1771. units mechanically configured mounting outside 1771 rack maximize available slots other data cards. Powering Units

OUTPUT STAGE Output Voltage Remote Sense

Swapping

Indicator
green indicator light signifies input output voltages within proper tolerance ranges described Technical Specification Sheet.
Status
contact normally open. Closed indicates power supply active while open indicates output voltage below specified range.
**IMPORTANT NOTE: When installing units redundant mode configuration, total system power being drawn cannot exceed rated specification amps. This limit will insure proper operation transition current sharing function event failure during system operation.
