Sirenza Microdevices NGA-489 high performance InGaP/ GaAs MMIC Amplifier. Darlington configuration designed with InGaP process technology provides broadband performance with excellent thermal perfomance. heterojunction increases breakdown voltage minimizes leakage current between junctions. Cancellation emitter junction non-linearities results higher suppression intermodulation products. 65mA NGA489 typically provides +38.0 output IP3, gain, +17.2 compressed power using single positive voltage supply. Only DC-blocking capacitors, bias resistor optional choke required operation.

Solder copper backside device package ground plane. large ground area with many plated through-holes shown. recommend ounce copper. Measurement this data sheet were made thick FR-4 board with ounce copper both sides.
Function
Description input pin. This requires external blocking capacitor chosen frequency operation. Connection ground. holes best performance reduce lead inductance close ground leads possible.
