Product Description
The aVR05 is an ultra-low-noise voltage regulator designed for hand-held batterypowered devices. Its extremely low dropout voltage (80mV typical with 150mA output) and very low quiescent current provide the longest possible battery lifetime. The aVR05 has a shutdown mode that is controlled by a CMOS / TTL compatible input. When the aVR05 is put into shutdown mode, power dissipation drops to nearly zero. In addition, the aVR05 contains current limiting circuitry and over-temperature protection. The aVR05 is available in 2.5V, 2.7V, 2.8V, 3.0V, 3.3V, 3.6V, 4.0V and 5.0V fixed voltage versions, and it is packaged in SOT-23-5 surface-mount packages.
