DATEL's ACA-20RM Series world's first digital ac-ammeters incorporate built-in current transformer (CT) directly measure true-rms value complex, non-sinusoidal currents from bulky expensive "donut" required! Operation setup straightforward: simply pass load-carrying wire through on-board apply power, ammeter fully operational. Five input ranges measure 0-0.2 amps (0.1mA resolution), amps (0.001A resolution), 0-20 amps (0.01A resolution), 0-30 amps (0.1A resolution) 0-50 amps (0.1A resolution). model features oversized split-core current transformer that easily accommodates wires sizes (21.2mm2). power supply options available: 85-140V (47-63Hz), 170-264V (47-63Hz). models totally self-contained; external components required. Power consumption from nominal 120V 220V supply less than 50mA. And, precision autozeroing circuitry, super-stable components, rms-to-dc converter circuit combine achieve excellent performance when measuring complex, non-sinusoidal, currents found today's computer/telecom equipment. ACA-20RM Series ammeters feature full-size, 0.37" (9.4mm) high, digit, bright LED-displays built-in bezel/filter assembly that features metal fasteners. They panel-cutout compatible with DATEL's DMS-20 Series voltage frequency monitors, making ACA-20RM ammeters perfect replacements older, less reliable, analog panel meters today's sophisticated instrumentation.

However, using extreme caution observing safety measures applicable user's installation, split-core models connected energized current-carrying load conductors, connections must always made with ammeter's power source off. Care should exercised when passing load-carrying conductor through meter's built-in CT-particularly when larger conductors used. installed wire-positions should such that minimal mechanical forces applied built-in TB1, ammeter itself. highvibration environments, strongly recommended that adequate strain reliefs used load supply wiring. Using Figure guide, carefully insert bezel/color filter assembly into panel opening. From rear panel, install four round plastic standoffs over bezel's threaded studs. Install pc-board assembly then attach securely tighten four nuts. only factory-supplied hardware substitute hardware could result unsafe installation and/or adversely affect reliability ammeter itself. recommended range panel thickness that used with supplied hardware 0.040 inches (1.0mm) 0.125 inches (3.2mm). Panel thickness outside this range will require additional user-supplied hardware and/or modifications.
