PRECAUTION
Please attention followings when this TFT-LCD Module with Back-light unit. 10.1 Precaution handling mounting should consider mouting structure that uneven force (ex. twisted stress) applied module. improve strength module against mechanical shock space between module case should less than 1.0mm. (3)Protection material front LCD's screen surface recommended protect polarizer, LCD-glass metal bezel. Please note that protection material should touch them directry. Acetic acid type chloline type materials cover case desiable because former generate corrosive attacking polarizer high temperature latter causes circuit break electro-chemical reaction. (5)Do touch, push exposed polarizers with glass, tweezers anything harder than pencil lead. please dustclothes with chemical treatment. touch surface polarizer with bare hand greasy close. (Some cosmetics detrimental polarizer.) When surface becomes dusty,please wipe gently with absorbent cotton other soft materials chamois soaked Normal-Hexane. Normal-Hexane recommended clearning adhesives used attach front /rear polarizers. acetone, toluen alcohol because they cause chemical damage polarizer. Wipe saliva water drops soon possible. Their long time contact with polarizer cuses deformations color fading. (8)The module should never opened modified. cause operate properly. Metallic bezel module should handled with bare hand dirty gloves. Otherwise, color metallic frame become dirty during storage. recommended clean soft gloves clean finger stalls when module handled incoming inspection process production (assembly) process. (10)When adopt metallic shield board backside TFT-LCD Module, should close TFT-LCD Module. (11) pull fold CCFL cable.

10.2 Precaution operation should adopt radiation structure satisfy temperature specification. Optical response time, luminance chromaticity depend temperature TFT-LCD module. lower temperature becomes longer.) (3)Response time saturation time CCFL luminance become longer lower temperature operation. Sudden temperature change cause and/or module. males damage polarizer and/or electrical contacting portion. causes fading displayed quality. Fixed patterns displayed module long time cause after-image. will recovered soon. Please connect Back-light connector inverter circuit directly. long cable between CCFL inverter cause brightness drop CCFL cause rise starting lamp voltage(Vs). module should connected removed while main system works. Inserting pulling connectors causes truble when power supply signal datas on-state.I/F connectors should inserted pulled after power supply signal datas turned off. 10.3 Electrostatic discharge control Since module consists cell electronic circuits with CMOS-ICs, which very weak electrostatic discharge, persons handling module should grounded through adequate methods such list band. connector pins should touched directly with bare hands. Protection film polarizer module should slowly peeled that electrostatic charge minimized. 10.4 Precaution strong light exposure module should exposed under strong light. Otherwise, characteristics polarizer color filter module degraded.

10.5 Precaution storage When TFT-LCD Modules stored long time, following precautions should taken care Modules should stored dark place. prohibited apply sunlight fluorescent light during storage. Modules should stored 35°C normal humidity (60%RH less). surface polarizers should come contact with other object. recommended that modules should stored Hitachi's shipping box. 10.6 Precaution handle protective film (1)When protective film peeled off, static electricity generated between film polarizer. This film should peeled slowly carefully people electrically grounded with well ion-blown equipment such condition, etc. (2)The protective film attached polarizer with small amount glue. some stress applied protective film against polarizer during time peel film, glue remain more polarizer. please carefully peel protective film without rubbing against polarizer. (3)When module with protective film attached stored long time, sometimes there remains very small amount glue, still polarizer after protective film peeled off. Please refrain from storing module high temperature high humidity glue remain these condition. (4)The glue taken modules failure, remove glue easily. When glue remains polarizer surface vestige recognized, please wipe them with absorbent cotton waste other soft material like chamois soaked with Normal-Hexane. 10.7 Safety module broken, careful handle injure. (TFT-LCD Lamp made glass.) Please wash hands sufficiently when touch liquid crystal coming from broken LCDs. (2)As Back-light unit high voltage circuit internal, open case insert foreign materials case. (3)The CCFL inverter should designed include function output shutdown case output overcurrent happen backlight trouble. shutdown function should assured work abnormal condition actual systems.
