®1638 power dual rail-to-rail input output operational amplifier available standard 8-pin PDIP packages well 8-lead MSOP package. LT1639 power quad rail-to-rail input output operational amplifier offered standard 14-pin PDIP surface mount packages. space limited applications LT1638 available 0.8mm dual fine pitch leadless package (DFN). APPLICATIONS INFORMATION
Supply Voltage positive supply LT1638/LT1639 should bypassed with small capacitor (typically 0.1µF) within inch pin. When driving heavy loads additional 4.7µF electrolytic capacitor should used. When using split supplies, same true negative supply pin. LT1638/LT1639 protected against reverse battery voltages 18V. event reverse battery condition occurs, supply current less than 1nA. LT1638/LT1639 shut down removing this condition input bias current less than 0.1nA, even inputs above negative supply. temperatures greater than 70°C, when operating LT1638/LT1639 total supplies more, supply must brought faster than 1V/µs. Increasing bypass capacitor and/or adding small resistor series with supply will limit rise time. Inputs LT1638/LT1639 have input stages, (see Simplified Schematic), resulting three distinct operating regions shown Input Bias Current Common Mode typical performance curve. input voltages about 0.8V more below input stage active input bias current typically 20nA. When input common mode voltage within 0.5V positive rail, stage operating input bias current typically 40nA.
