APPLICATION NOTES
Communication take place distances from (i.e. "nose-to-nose") window PANEL-IR module should pointed window device other infra-red link. infra-red light beam spans approximately 30°, devices have directly aligned. There should however clear line sight between devices. close range, communication more forgiving small obstacles will affect link.

PANEL-IR module acts "transparent" data translator i.e.: there built-in communications protocol adhere device works transmitting pulse "Low" bits, transmitting anything "High" bits. Since first serial byte (the start bit) always "Low", this marks start byte. Subsequent bits synchronised from there.
