Learning Transmitter Encoder (Applies Decoders)
Briefly press programming switch (PSW). Learn will illuminate. Depress transmitter once, Learn will extinguish. Depress transmitter again, Learn will flash. (approx 10secs). Wait Learn stop flashing. This transmitter will operate system.

Serial Data Output Both HiRK HiR6 decoders provide serial data output. (selectable option HiRK) This outputs serial number, button battery status transmitter encoder successfully received. also gives indication which inputs encoder have been activated status encoder battery. This data idle state logic RS232 type driver circuit (e.g. MAX232) which then connect directly serial port. RS232 level serial data output provided SA123 RFEVAL2). Serial data output continually whilst data being received from transmitter. i.e. this output valid regardless whether encoder been learnt decoder not. user requires serial number pre-learnt encoders only, then serial output should configured only output data when digital outputs from decoder asserted which occurs only when encoder been prelearnt.) data received decoder (from encoder) checked correct Manchester coding KeeLoq decrypted) following data output from Serial Data output pin. digit KeeLoq serial number. serial data string output every time valid transmitter packet received. nature KeeLoq packet there will minimum between each serial data string 150mSec. characters sent with following format;

Transmitter serial number Transmitter button information with battery status Carriage return Line feed (last character) Output from
Transmitter Serial Number made ASCII characters from following group: most significant serial number digit transmitted first. This provides total 28million possible serial numbers. KeeLoq Button Status transmitted ASCII character range battery asserted (encoder battery low) then range KeeLoq data bits then make ASCII byte least significant bits single encoder button pressed, then character will sent battery, encoder button pressed then will sent. both pressed simultaneously then character will sent. KeeLoq encoder buttons simultaneously pressed then character will sent. Examination ASCII patterns shows that this allows single multiple encoder button presses decoded ASCII receiving device.
Examples Serial Data output: three button keyfob with serial number 2345678, serial data output when encoder transmission decoded would follows: pressed: 2345678A (2345678a battery voltage transmitter low) pressed: 2345678B (2345678b battery voltage transmitter low) pressed together: 2345678C (2345678c battery voltage transmitter low) pressed: 2345678H (2345678h battery voltage transmitter low)
