AP3902 power switch consists fixedfrequency current-mode controller high voltage transistor. specifically designed high performance off-line switching power supplies nonisolated small household applications. Compared discrete MOSFET controller power supply solutions, AP3902 solution offers advantages such fewer component numbers, smaller size, lower total cost. normal operation, AP3902 features with fixed switching frequency. When output power falls below given level, circuits automatically switches burst mode skipping some switching cycles. case failure modes like open loop, over voltage overload short circuit, device switches into auto restart mode which controlled internal protection unit. This adopts frequency dithering technique reduce EMI. AP3902 available DIP-8 package.
