Detailed Description
Hardware Description PE0001 Interface Card based around CMX850, 8051 µcontroller. There 8kBytes XRAM available on-chip, 4Mbit external flash program memory. link host standard RS232 serial port. flash memory reprogrammed RS232 serial port using `ESFLASH' tool. C-BUS output, provided control CMX{target} selected PE{target} Card. C-BUS signals Command Data, Reply Data Serial Clock interfaced µcontroller with some programmable logic implemented Xilinx CPLD. Programming FLASH PE0001 board supports in-situ programming onboard FLASH memory using serial interface internal BootROM. requires programming application `ESFLASH_xx.EXE' where `xx' version `14' higher. enter FLASH programming close jumper press `RESETN' switch, SW1. Connect serial interface (J2) able FLASH programming application. Start FLASH programming application select "Target type selection" "PE0001 Evaluation board". Click "Load File" select "fat stub download" file which matches flash memory type fitted attached PE0001 evaluation board. (The board normally fitted with AM29LV040B 70ns FLASH memory, therefore `AM29LV040_0001.hex'). Click "Load File" select required FLASH data download file select `FLASH bank download'. Keil compiler suite produces single file code banked projects with file extension ".Hex". Select communications resource which connected PE0001 evaluation board. Press "Program FLASH" button start download sequence PE0001 evaluation board. dialog controls will greyed progress counter will start. program prompts with message "Automatically include `thin' stub code bank then click button.
