DESCRIPTION
iButton Capsule mechanical enclosure protect Temperature Logger iButtons (DS1921 DS1922 series) from moisture, solvents pressure. device consists base with cavity iButton, screw-in plug with O-ring seal enclosure, with stainless-steel screws mount iButton Capsule cable, e.g., measure temperature different levels within liquid. cable inserted into notch plug where held place matching protrusion piece. Base, plug, made polyphenylene sulfide (PPS). iButton inserted into base part with data contact towards bottom base. plug then placed into base initially tightened hand. Then base held with wrench, using metal stick inserted horizontally into notch plug, plug tightened until head touches base. important exceed maximum permissible torque. iButton Capsule does provide electrical contact iButton inside. Therefore necessary setup (mission) temperature logger first before inserting into iButton Capsule. download logged temperature data, logger needs taken iButton Capsule.
