DESCRIPTION
DS1413 Passive Serial Port iButton Holder simple, low-cost adapter which performs RS232C (±12 volt) level conversion, allowing non-EPROM iButton read written directly. also read EPROM based iButtons. serial port must support data transmission rate 115.2 kbits/s order create 1-Wire® time slots correctly. Nearly several other hardware platforms support required rate fully compatible with DS1413. Since eight character (6-data bits plus start-and stop bit) RS232C port operating 115.2 kbits/s used form single 1-Wire time slot, maximum effective 1-Wire transfer rate 14.4 kbits/s (regular speed). DS1413 DS9098 retainer single Micro-Can replace DS9097 Port Adapter applications that only single iButton. Multiple iButtons connected DS1413 using standard MicroLAN Cables button holders (see DS1401 DS1402x data sheets).
