Description
MASW-003103-1364 Surmountbroadband monolithic SP3T switch using series shunt connected silicon diodes. This part designed moderate signal, high performance switch applications GHz. This Surface Mount chipscale configuration optimized broadband performance with minimal associated parasitics usually associated with hybrid designs incorporating beam lead diodes that require chip wire assembly. MASW-003103-1364 fabricated using M/ACOM Tech's patented HMIC(Heterolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) process, Patent 5,268,310. This process allows incorporation silicon pedestals that form series shunt diodes vias imbedding them loss, dispersion glass. using small spacing between elements, this combination silicon glass gives HMIC devices loss high isolation performance through millimeter frequencies. Handling Procedures
Attachment circuit board made simple through standard surface mount technology. Mounting pads conveniently located bottom surface these devices removed from active junction locations. These devices well suited solder attachment onto hard soft substrates. 80Au/20Sn, RoHS compliant solders recommended. applications where average power conductive silver epoxy also used. Cure manufacturers recommended time temperature. Typically hour 150°C. When soldering these devices hard substrate, solder re-flow method preferred. vacuum pick-up tool force to100 grams applied surface device while placing chip recommended. When soldering soft substrates, such Duroid, recommended soft solder circuit board mounting interface minimize stress mismatches that exist. Position that mounting pads aligned with circuit board mounting pads. Solder reflow should performed causing heat flow through surface back. Since HMIC glass transparent, edges mounting pads visually inspected through after attachment completed.
