74LV123 low-voltage Si-gate CMOS device function compatible with 74HC123; 74HCT123. dual retriggerable monostable multivibrator which uses three methods control output pulse width: basic pulse time programmed selection external resistor (REXT) capacitor (CEXT). These normally connected shown Figure Once triggered, basic output pulse width extended retriggering gated active LOW-going edge input (nA) active HIGH-going edge input (nB). repeating this process, output pulse period HIGH, LOW) made long desired (see Figure 12). Alternatively, output delay terminated time LOW-going edge input nRD, which also inhibits triggering (see Figure 13). Schmitt-trigger action inputs makes circuit highly tolerant slower input rise fall times.

12.2 Power considerations
12.2.1 Power-up
When monostable multivibrator powered-up, produce output pulse with pulse width defined values REXT CEXT. This output pulse eliminated using circuit shown Figure
12.2.2 Power-down
