PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS
MOUNTING
Vertical mounting capacitor with terminals recommended. However, horizontal mounting acceptable providing vent located position. Vertical mounting with terminals down recommended because capacitor life reduced operation pressure relief vent impaired.
CLEANING
Solvent residues capacitors after cleaning penetrate seal cause internal corrosion resulting shortened life. Alcohol water detergent cleaning usually harmful halogenated cleaning solvents recommended should avoided.
SAFETY
Because watt-second value these capacitors high, precautions should taken during testing these devices. Discharge resistors should specified when there possibility residual charge left capacitor protect contacts.
