'HC646 consist bus-transceiver circuits with 3-state outputs, D-type flip-flops, control circuitry arranged multiplexed transmission data directly from input from internal registers. Data clocked into registers low-to-high transition appropriate clock (CLKAB CLKBA) input. Figure illustrates four fundamental busmanagement functions that performed with 'HC646. Output-enable (OE) direction-control (DIR) inputs control transceiver functions. transceiver mode, data present high-impedance port stored either both registers. select-control (SAB SBA) inputs multiplex stored real-time (transparent mode) data. determines which receives data when active (low). isolation mode high), data stored register data stored other register.
