Analog Devices' RSV-2000 Remote Video Surveillance Transceiver features scaleable rate enable operation over analog POTS PSTN telephone lines. transceiver includes full-color, full-motion video frames/second QCIF mode with 4CIF (still image) mode option increase resolution subject identification. enabling local video compression, multiple days video captured single hard disk. four cameras sequenced single monitor, recorded VCR. Each camera remotely adjusted with pan, tilt, zoom features different viewing angles. Full security includes passwords access control. "always remote monitoring ability enables monitored activity, property, employees continually under surveillance. Full-duplex voice communication with acoustic echo cancellation provides real-time voice audio communications simultaneously with real-time video. Voice activity detection facilitates video capture when audio thresholds exceeded (and accompanying motion occurs).
