ACA0861 family surface mount monolithic GaAs Linear Amplifiers been developed replace, designs, standard CATV Hybrid amplifiers currently use. MMICs consist parallel amplifiers, each with gain. Amplifiers optimized exceptionally distortion noise figure while providing flat gain excellent input output return loss. There four differently specified Amplifiers available, input stages output stages. ACA0861A ACA0861C input stages specified dBmV flat output. ACA0861B ACA0861D output stages specified dBmV flat output. Hybrid equivalent formed when input stage ACA0861 cascaded with ACA0861 output stage between transmission line baluns. gain applications single ACA0861 used between baluns, higher gain applications more than ACA0861 cascaded between baluns. ACA0861 application note more information.

INPUT STAGES
ACA0861A ACA0861C designed input stages specified dBmV flat output. These parts used alone gain, output level applications cascaded with ACA0861 output stages higher gain output signal drive level. ACA0861A power dissipation part designed drive ACA0861B output stage. ACA0861C slightly higher power dissipation part provides needed distortion parameters drive ACA0861D output stage.
OUTPUT STAGES
ACA0861B ACA0861D designed output stages specified dBmV flat output. These parts used alone gain, high output level applications cascaded with ACA0861 input stages higher gain. ACA0861B power dissipation part designed output stage with ACA0861A input stage. ACA0861D higher power dissipation part designed output stage with ACA0861C input stage. ACA0861A ACA0861B cascaded provide exceptional push-pull hybrid equivalent performance, ACA0861C ACA0861D cascaded provide exceptional power doubling hybrid equivalent performance (see Figure
