S5U1C63000P provides board peripheral circuits S1C63 Family microcomputers other than core CPU. installing this board (S5U1C63000H1/S5U1C63000H2) emulate each model S1C63 Family. This board contains programmable gate array (FPGA) supports each model downloading circuit data from host FPGA ICE.

Installing S5U1C63000P (S5U1C63000H1/S5U1C63000H2)
Unfasten screws located left right sides front panel (S5U1C63000H1/ S5U1C63000H2) turning them counterclockwise, then remove front panel. Insert S5U1C63000P board into along uppermost guide rails until board touches back ICE. some other board mounted uppermost guide rails, remove that board using supplied with before insert S5U1C63000P board (see Figure 2.1.3). Once S5U1C63000P board been inserted almost fully into ICE, secure position using supplied with (see Figure 2.1.2). When above done, replace front panel.

Downloading Circuit Data when (S5U1C63000H2) used
This board (S5U1C63000P) comes with FPGA that contains factory inspection data, therefore circuit data model used should downloaded. following explains downloading procedure. Remove cover then switch "IOSEL2" this board position. Connect host Then turn host Invoke debugger included assembler package (ver. later). debugger, refer manuals supplied with assembler package. Download circuit data file (.mot) corresponding model entering following commands command window. >XFER >XFWR <file name> >XFCP <file name> (erase all) (download specified file)* (compare specified file downloaded data)
downloading takes about minutes. Terminate debugger then turn off. switch "IOSEL2" this board position. Turn invoke debugger again. Debugging started here.
Downloading Circuit Data when previous (S5U1C63000H1) used
standard (S5U1C63000H1, previous model) support circuit data download function this board. download function, update firmware according following procedure. baud rate 9600 bps. Refer manual supplied with setting switch. Connect host then start host DOS. When Windows running, restart mode.
Note: prompt Windows.
Turn Configure RS232C parameters host follows: C:\>MODE COM1:9600,n,8,1,p (9600 bps, 8-bit data, stop bit, parity)
Copy following files included assembler package (ver. later) directory hard disk. tm63.exe, ice63.com, i63com.o, i63par Move directory Step TM63. TM63 enters command ready status after invocation, enter command follows: C:\>tm63 TM63 start TM63 start V01.01 >dlf ice63.com i63com.o i63par Enter terminate TM63 after prompt mark displayed. firmware updated. Turn then download circuit data procedure described Section 2.2.
