General Description
APX823/APX824/APX825A family supervisors provides circuit initialization timing supervision, primarily processor-based systems. During power-on,
RESET
asserted when supply voltage becomes higher than 1.1V. Thereafter, supply voltage supervisor
monitors keeps RESET active long remains below threshold voltage VTH-. internal timer delays return output inactive state (high) ensure proper system reset. delay time ,td, starts after risen above threshold voltage VTH-. When supply voltage drops below threshold voltage VTH-, output becomes active (low) again. external components required. devices this family have fixed-sense threshold voltage VTH- internal voltage divider. APX823/APX825A devices incorporate manual reset input, level causes RESET become active. APX824/APX825A devices include high-level output RESET. APX823/APX824/APX825A have watchdog timer that periodically triggered positive negative transition WDI. When supervising system fails retrigger watchdog circuit within time-out interval, ttout, RESET becomes active time period This event also reinitializes watchdog timer.
