DS75176B high speed differential TRI-STATE bus/line transceiver designed meet requirements standard RS485 with extended common mode range (+12V -7V), multipoint data transmission. addition, compatible with RS-422. driver receiver outputs feature TRI-STATE capability, driver outputs over entire common mode range +12V -7V. contention fault situations that cause excessive power dissipation within device handled thermal shutdown circuit, which forces driver outputs into high impedance state. specifications guaranteed over 70°C temperature 4.75V 5.25V supply voltage range.
Features
Meets standard RS485 multipoint transmission compatible with RS-422. Small Outline (SO) Package option available minimum board space. driver propagation delays. Single supply. +12V common mode range permits ground difference between devices bus. Thermal shutdown protection. High impedance with driver TRI-STATE with power off, over entire common mode range allows unused devices powered down. compatible with DS3695/A SN75176A/B. Combined impedance driver output receiver input less than RS485 unit load, allowing transceivers bus. typical receiver hysteresis.
