DESCRIPTION
FMM4006 STM-16/STS-48 compatible high speed 16:1 multiplexer optical transmission systems high speed test equipment. FMM4006 converts 16-bit 155.5Mbps parallel data into 2.485Gbps high speed serial data. Also FMM4006 internal phase frequency detector circuit external phase lock loop (PLL) configuration. phase frequency detector detects phase difference between reference clock (DCLK) divide-by-16 clock (CLK16) generated timing generator. outputs down signals (U,D). phase difference detected rising edges DCLK CLK16. When DCLK phase prior CLK16, pulse signal output each divide-by-16 clock cycle signal (low state). When DCLK phase behind CLK16, pulse signal output signal After CLK16 phase locked DCLK, short pulses output both output phase frequency detector used (with external charge pump, pass filter, VCO) that connects CLCK/CLCKN input.
