DESCRIPTION:
MP54C/MP55C series power modules noise EMI), economical linear DC:DC converters with integral connector conforming Intel Corporation's Voltage Regulator Module specification Pentium® Processor. Outstanding features include internal current limiting thermal shutdown, providing full device protection against load faults thermal overstress. MP55C designed power split voltage plane microprocessors requiring 3.3V VI/O 2.xV VCORE. VI/O always supplied directly from 3.3V input; either main system power supply dropout regulator motherboard. core supplied either from 3.3V main supply reduce heat dissipation (MP55C-3.3) main power supply (MP55C-5). MP55C-3.3 still requires power control circuitry. MP55C-3.3 will available core voltages higher than 2.8V. Please contact Semtech availability.

INPUT VOLTAGE CONFIGURATIONS
MP55C-3.3 Uses 3.3V input (from main system power supply) conversion core voltage. Lowest dropout 0.35V; VCORE higher than 2.8V must MP55C-5. milliamps power necessary control circuit bias.
MP55C-5 Uses main power 3.3V VI/O. 3.3V supplied dropout regulator such EZ1085. supplied main system power supply.
