GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MSC7128-xx general purpose display controller vacuum fluorescent display tube. MSC7128-xx drives displays with anodes (dots) grids (characters) plus cursor. controller accepts command display data input words clocked serial input line. Commands control on/off duty cycle, starting character position, number characters display display modes (PLA mode Lamp Test mode). internal PLA-type character generator provides character decoding pattern generation full characters. 128-bit (ROM) code programmable.
