SYSTEMS announces RAD6000 based CompactPCI standard single board computer, available configurations. CompactPCI board employs RAD6000, MIPS radiation hardened version RS/6000, predecessor PowerPCTM. companion interface ASIC, called LIO, provides access Mbytes error corrected SRAM main memory, Mbytes Local EEPROM, Kbytes error corrected Start-up ROM, MIL-STD-1553B transformer coupled interface version backplane bus. 16550 compatible UART interface with RS-422 drivers receivers also provided. on-card FPGA provides additional status, discretes serial interfaces backplane connector, reconfigured before delivery meet unique user applications. engineering configuration incorporates engineering grade components, identical those flight unit, that undergo environmental screening. These boards support on-orbit troubleshooting spares. flight configuration undergoes standard flight acceptance testing prior shipment. Flight units engineering units both provided with as-built manufacturing records test results. Start-up VxWorks Board Support Package provided with both board configurations. Hardware reference manuals software user's guide also provided, downloadable versions provided RAD750website.
