sequence three keys that must pressed simultaneously switch from Smart Switch Port another. example, sequence, <Left Shift> <ALT> <A|B|C|D|E|F|G|H|N> states that left shift, Alt, either must pressed same time select corresponding Smart Switch Port. turns Smart Switch ports. Then press Address Character where desired port located. This character represented hexadecimal number from address 232XSSD4 always zero 232PEs from through Address Character required when turning ports. Default Values type XSSTSR command line with parameters, omit parameters, default value missing parameter will used. default values are: Description Port Address Baud Rate Parity Data Bits User Defined Char. Command String Sequence Help Screen installing XSSTSR using XSSTSR.COM method, type XSSTSR? press ENTER obtain list commands their options. Selecting Ports There different ways which Smart Switch port selected: either through command line pressing predefined sequence after XSSTSR installed. When request change ports made, using either method, first current port turned off, then port selected turned methods described follows: 232XSSD43800 Manual

Method This method enables user select Smart Switch port pressing pre-defined sequence keys same time after XSSTSR installed (refer Program Installation section). Example: sequence <Lft Shift><Alt><A|B|C|D|E|F|G|H|N> selected, change ports would press same time:
Left Shift select port Left Shift select port Left Shift select port Left Shift select port Left Shift select port Left Shift select port Left Shift select port Left Shift select port Left Shift turn ports
Then press address character indicate location desired port. This character required when turning ports off. Command Line Method This method enables user select Smart Switch port through command line. specify Smart Switch port through command line, would type XSSTSR followed command symbol letter port.

Example turn port 232XSSD4 would type XSSTSR command line press ENTER key. Example turn port 232PE address would type XSSTSR command line press ENTER key. Before smart switch port selected, check made determine communication port computer busy transmitting. communication port busy tone will generated notify that port busy that port selection cannot made. CAUTION: software package using transmission running fast baud rate (115200), XSSTSR detect Smart Switch port busy transmission could interrupted. XSSTSR does detect when 232XSSD4 port receiving data. Therefore, data being received, Smart Switch port still changed. Uninstalling XSSTSR un-installed easily typing XSSTSR pressing ENTER key. some cases XSSTSR will un-install. This caused another terminate stay resident (TSR) being installed after un-install XSSTSR when this occurs, other must first un-installed, then XSSTSR un-installed normally.
