Description:
183COR converts NMEA0183 Version data signal either RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 voltage levels. also converts data signal coming from three Specifications NMEA0183 voltage levels. unit powered externally wide voltage range that brought pair stripped tinned wire leads. RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 signals provided same DB-25 female connector, NMEA0183 signals provided DB-25 male connector. NMEA0183 standard which describes both electrical characteristics software protocol that should used interfacing electronic marine navigational devices. Version older standard, many devices still that comply with these specifications. Electrically, this standard unbalanced signal similar RS-232, with higher current handling capabilities optical isolation receive line.
RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 Side:
Connector: DB-25 Female Signals: RS-232 pins configured device. Passes through tied together. DTR, DSR, tied together. RS-422 RS-485 provided same pins. Automatic enable RS-422/RS-485 driver. Easily modified constant enable 422/485 receiver. Space provided optional 422/485 termination.

Connector: DB-25 Male Signals: Passes through Zero Eight volt voltage swing transmitter. Transmitter capable sourcing 15mA active state. volts maximum receiver idle marking state. volts minimum receiver active spacing state. Receiver input impedance 1.3K ohms. 2000 volts optical isolation receiver.

During transmission, RS-422/RS-485 transmitter kept enabled approximately milliseconds after transmission last data bit. This ensure that data data stream.
