Functional Description
These 16-bit buffers/line drivers designed memory driver, clock driver, other interface applications, where high-speed power required. three-state controls designed allow 4-bit, 8-bit combined 16-bit operation. Flow-through pinout small shrink packaging simplifies board layout. CY74FCT163244 24-mA balanced output drivers with current limiting resistors outputs. CY74FCT163LD244 6-mA balanced output drivers with current limiting resistors outputs. This reduces need external terminating resistors provides minimal undershoot reduced ground bounce. CY74FCT163H244 CY74FCT163LDH244 have "bus hold" data inputs, which retain last state input whenever source driving input goes high impedance. This eliminates need pull-up/down resistors prevents floating inputs. CY74FCT163244 CY74FCT163LD244 designed with inputs outputs capable being driven 5.0V buses, allowing them used mixed voltage systems translators. outputs also designed with power disable feature enabling them used applications requiring live insertion.
