Single-Chip Inverters (IPDs): High-Voltage Brushless Motor Drivers
Traditionally, variable-voltage switching power supply required drive brushless motors. Toshiba's single-chip inverters, fabricated using high-voltage monolithic process, eliminate need buck converter, making possible directly powered from commercial mains. Single-chip inverters available DIP26 package, which exhibits improved physical thermal characteristics compared conventional HZIP23 package.
