Handling precautions
Fuji Electric's high-voltage rectifier diodes were developed with emphasis compactness. diodes should coated with epoxy resin maintain insulation during use. When handling diodes, observe following precautions times:
Precautions receiving test Characteristic check remolding
When preparing high-voltage rectifier diode test, secure creepage distance insulation remold diode with epoxy resin about 80x40mm considering heat radiation measurement. Then perform characteristic reliability test. When molding high-voltage rectifier diode, ensure full contact between coating high-voltage diode. Characteristic check insulating Without remolding, characteristics high-voltage rectifier diodes generally checked insulating (fluorinate silicone oil). Fluorinate volatile silicone not. Therefore, wash diode well after testing. ensure product quality, recommended that tested high-voltage diodes installed actual products.
Precautions
When installing high-voltage rectifier diode product, keep diode surface clean ensure full contact with coatings. Bubbles coating will cause product insulation reliability deteriorate. Ensure that there bubbles around surface area high-voltage rectifier diode. coating, epoxy material recommended. Ensure that expansion contraction will stress coating. touch body diode directly with bare hands. handling component necessary, nylon gloves finger stalls body oils left surface diode sealing compromise voltage withstand capability. Form lead wires more away from sealing. Limit stresses lead wires within range 5N{0.5 kgf}. When high-voltage rectifier diode soldered, heat applied leads exceed maximum rated storage temperature. maintain diode quality despite soldering heat, solder leads under following conditions: Soldering temperature: 10°C Immersion time: Immersion depth: l0cm away from diode body
Precautions storage
rule, store high-voltage rectifier diodes average temperature humidity 35°C, less). avoid influence ambient environment, recommended that diodes installed immediately after they unpacked. high-voltage rectifier diode stored more than months, place diode environment 110°C period between hours eliminate traces moisture. high-voltage rectifier diode guaranteed years from shipping.
