Wire Wound Chip Coil with High Value High Frequencies Resistance
chip coil LQH/LQN series consists miniature chip inductors wound special ferrite core made possible automatic winding technique developed Murata. These inductors have high high frequencies resistance, making them very well suited enhancing performance electronic circuits video, communications, audio equipment.

There three different inductor types LQH1N, LQH3N, LQH(N)4N series. These three series cover wide inductance range (from 0.1µH 2.2mH). series outstanding frequency characteristics high value high frequencies. resistance permits high current flow. series excellent solder heat resistance. Both flow reflow soldering methods employed. LQH1N Miniature size (3.2Z1.6Z1.8mm) allows parallel mounting 2.5mm pitch. series suitable portable audio-visual equipment. LQH3N high value makes this series suitable circuits 100MHz frequency. series excellent video equipment. LQH(N)4N This series offers high inductance values high current capacity. 10µH, 450mA designs possible, resulting excellent performance when inductors used choke coils.

High Magnetically Shielded Chip Coil with Tight Inductance Tolerance (T2%), Perfect Oscillation Circuits
LQS33N series consists closed, magnetically shielded chip inductors wound ferrite bobbins developed Murata. Their high value virtually eliminates interference with nearby circuits. This, combined with their tight inductance tolerance, makes these chip inductors excellent resonant circuits.
!FEATURES
Their coil's outstanding stability yields reduction inductor tolerance within T2%. high (typically greater than present inductance values basis this chip coil's outstanding loss circuit characteristics. ferrite core shielding structure both eliminates external interference facilitates high mounting density. Small inductance variation with respect temperature change makes these coils applicable traps filters stable frequency characteristics. This series thin compact, with thickness merely 1.8mm.

LQN6C/LQS66C series choke coils which have achieved direct current resistance, large current capacity large inductance using high performance thick wire wrapping technology. Because LQS66C series shielded construction, mounted high density without interference occurring between peripheral components. They optimum choke coils DC/DC converters power supply circuits.

Both LQN6C series with open magnetic path construction LQS66C series with magnetic shielding construction allow application wide variety uses. inductance range covers from 0.12µH 10000µH allowing minute compatibility with series 1000µH. Mounting Instructions
1Land Pattern Dimensions Large lands reduce mounted chip. Also, large protruding land areas (bordered lines having dimensions shown below) cause floating electrode cracks.
Land Solder Resist
4Amount Solder Paste Excessive solder causes electrode corrosion, while insufficient solder causes electrode bonding strength. Adjust amount solder paste that solder applied shown below.
LQH/LQN
2Magnetic Coupling Since some chip coils constructed like open magnetic circuit, narrow spacing between coils cause magnetic coupling. (Please refer Page coil-to-coil spacing coupling coefficient.) series have magnetically shielded structure. structure makes their coupling coefficient smaller than that conventional chip coils. particular, LQS33N series very small coupling coefficient.

Frequency 40kHz Care should taken cause resonance mounted products. Cleaning Agent following cleaning agents have been tested individual components. Evaluation complete assembly should done prior production. alternatives alcohol cleaning agents #Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) #HCFC-225 Aqueous cleaning agents #Surface active agent (Clean Thru 750H) #High grade alcohol (Pine Alpha ST-100S) #Hydrocarbon (Techno Cleaner 335) #Alkaline saponifier (Aqua Cleaner 240-cleaner should diluted using deionized water.) series Aqueous agents should used because they cause quality deterioration. series Surface active agent high grade alcohol used. Ensure that flux residue completely removed. Component should thoroughly dried after aqueous agents have been removed with deionized water. additional cleaning methods, please contact Murata.
21N/21C Series There possibility that inductance value change magnetism. Don't magnet pair tweezers with magnetism when chip coil handled. (The tweezers should molded with resin pottery.)
Handling
Avoid applying excessive stress products prevent damage. touch winding with sharp objects such tweezers prevent wire breakage. apply excessive force products mounted boards prevent core breakage.
Operating Environment

Storage Requirements
Storage Period Products should used within months receipt. Solderability should verified this period exceeded. (LQH, series should used within months.) Storage conditions Store products warehouse compliance with following conditions Temperature Humidity (relative humidity) subject products rapid changes temperature humidity. store them corrosive gases atmosphere such containing sulfurous acid alkaline gas. This will prevent electrode oxidation which causes poor solderability possible corrosion coils. store products bulk packaging prevent collision among coils which causes core chipping wire breakage. Store products pallets protect from humidity, dust, etc. Avoid heat shock, vibration, direct sunlight, etc.
Resin Coating
When coating products with resin, relatively high resin curing stress change inductance values. exterior coating, select resin carefully that electrical mechanical performance product affected.
Caution
This item designed have sufficient strength, handle with care make chipped broken ceramic structure. Series some mounting machines, when picking components, support pushes components from bottom base tape. this case, please remove support pin. support damage components break wire. LQH/LQN Series Sharp material, such pair tweezers, shall touch winding portion prevent breaking wire. Mechanical shock should applied products mounted board prevent breaking core.
