Minimum loading converter needs minimum loading maintain output regulation. Operation under no-load conditions will cause immediate damages reduce reliability, cause performance meet specifications. Regulation With semi-regulated design, converter's output voltage varies with load current will change proportionally input voltage. regulated output needed, external regulator used shown Figure
APPLICATION NOTES:
Input filtering reduce reflected ripple current minimize EMI, especially when converter input more than away from source, recommended connect electrolytic capacitor between Gnd. values suggested shown Table additional filtering required, capacitance increased, expanded network shown Figure
