Ring validation qualifies ring frequency cadence prevent invalid wake-onring events. Caller decode storage saves string later recall when system awakes from power-down state. AC-Link auto-configuration switches SDATA_IN signal allow single riser card primary/secondary operation regardless system configuration. EEPROM interface adds Plug-and-Play (PnP) functionality cards MDCs. Lockup protection prevents system crash from leaving phone line off-hook state that inhibits incoming/outgoing calls. Integrated speaker driver reduces board space cost modem call progress circuit.
